Wood and Fiber
Guardians
The Guardians started their evolution as slightly larger kids’ toys made without buttons or beads to ensure they were safe for even very young children. They eventually branched off into larger and smaller versions, and I started decorating some of the smallest ones to be apotropaic objects that a person could wear.
Tapeater
Tapeater the woodstove came about from a desire to have a portable and playful means of making food. It is constructed of welded steel plates, cast iron elements, with cast bronze details. The process of constructing the stove involved a fair amount of trial and error, which is how it acquired the name Tapeater.
Bronze Spoons
These spoons take inspiration from highly decorated Scandinavian love spoons, as well as the Allegory of the Long Spoons.

Reliquary
This Reliquary is meant to both elevate the object within, as well as protect it.
Fids, Dibblers, and Cow Tools
“Fids, Dibblers and Cow Tools” was an exploration of the intersection between tools and forms found in nature. Frequently naturally occurring objects such as bones and stones seem like they should have a specialized use, and tools have an innate beauty as objects. This series strove to both push the limits of what makes a usable tool and a beautiful or interesting object.
